In the heart of the Poitevin Marsh Natural Park, a protected site Natura 2000, in an old Maraichine farmhouse located on the island of Magné, our guesthouse welcomes you to allow you to discover in peace this picturesque region.
Maraichin landscapes, criss-crossed by canals and conches, the fauna and flora very special to the marsh.
Tourism is well developed with many piers for beautiful boat rides. A multitude of hiking or cycling trails, the “Vélo Francette” path passing in front of the house.
To the east, towards Niort capital of the Green Venice, access the A10 towards the Futuroscope (1h30). 2 minutes away, the village of Magné with all services, post office, doctor, pharmacy, banks, supermarket and gas station, etc…
To the south, head for the ocean with La Rochelle at 45 min and the beaches of Charente Maritime. 2 minutes away, the village of Garette typically Maraichin with its piers, restaurants, equestrian center, swimming pool, etc.
To the west, head for the Vendée marsh, 2 minutes away is the village of Coulon, very touristy and lively. Many restaurants, local shops and local products, piers, entertainment all summer long.
To the north, towards Nantes, access A83 for the beaches of Vendée and Puy du Fou 1 hour and 30 minutes of driving away.
